ALLPlayer is a multimedia player which allows you to play various types of files, DVDs, URLs, and has a well-optimized subtitle feature and also the possibility to play internet radio stations.
The program interface has a nice color scheme but it's not very practical: may cause difficulties in finding menu tabs. The navigation through the menu is sometimes laggy, and the response time when you try to open a video file is too slow. Another thing that I noticed is that you can't make the program go fullscreen until you open a file, which is kinda awkward sometimes.
Now, talking about capabilities. As I mentioned, in the beginning, the player has a wide range of playable formats, including 3G2, AVI, MKV, AVI, FLV, DAT, MOV, M2TS, MP4, 3GP, VOB, MPG, APE, AU, MKA, MP3, OGG, WAV, and AC3. Also, it has built-in codecs that support 4K and ULTRA HD, Dolby Surround, DTS or 3D audio.
Going further, the program has some minor features that don't really make a difference, but they sometimes improve the user experience. It has a subtitle seeker feature, that automatically searches for your desired subtitles, with the possibility to choose your subtitle server.
Moreover, it can play DVDs, CDs, URLs, and RAR files. Also, you can set the computer or monitor to turn off after the movie ends or set up parental control over a specific file.
To sum it up, ALLPlayer seems like a good freeware choice for those who seek an all-around player, with many commonly supported formats, and who don't care much about user experience.
